Biography

About Ashish K.

Ashish K. is a developer based in Surat, Gujarat, India, and the person behind FastQR. He started the project in 2025 after running into the same problem again and again: most QR code generators online were slow, cluttered with ads, or locked simple features behind a paid plan.

FastQR was his answer — a browser-based generator that creates a QR code in seconds, needs no signup, and works the same on a phone as on a desktop. Today the platform covers more than 20 QR types, including website links, Wi-Fi networks, WhatsApp, email, phone numbers, locations, PDFs, images, video, audio, and social profiles.

Alongside the tools, he writes the guides on the FastQR blog. Each article is written for people who need a working QR code for something real — a restaurant menu, an event check-in, a product label, a business card — and is reviewed for accuracy before it is published. You can read more about the project on the About Us page.
